Jason was born in the coal fields of West Virginia. Before answering God’s call to be a pastor, he was pursuing a career in broadcast journalism. After 11 years working in churches with youth and children, Jason became the Lead Pastor at GCF. He has served in that role for almost 15 years now. He is married to Kyra, a preschool teacher, for almost 20 years and they have three children. Jason is big fan of Indiana Jones and James Bond, enjoys college football (UK, Virginia Tech and Stanford) – and likes to hike the trails in the Bluegrass.
Ranjo is from Mumbai, India where his family planted the Church at Powai. He has an M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary. Ranjo leads worship and spearheads our ministry to youth and university students. Ranjo is married to Aletha, and together they have two girls - Diya and Asha.
Melanie and her husband Vince came from FL after being part of the team that built a church in the FL Keys. She has served with Vince on worship teams and youth ministry. She also did financial work for Dr. Corbitt, (a local Dr. and missionary to Africa) for 14 years. They have lived in Wilmore now for 29 years, and have been married for 36 yrs. They have 3 grown children, Alicia, Josh and Megan, and their first grandson Grey Lewis!
Kyle grew up in Huntington, Indiana. It was during his freshman year in college that he received a call into ministry. That call has led him to serve in various churches and to do ministry literally all over the world in several countries. Kyle is passionate to serve teens and to see their lives transformed through the saving and sanctifying power of Jesus Christ. With over 18 years’ experience serving teens in youth ministry, he accepted the call to serve the teens and family of GCF here in Wilmore, KY. Kyle is married to Kelly, and they have a son who is currently attending Asbury University and a daughter in high school. When Kyle is not serving the teens at GCF, he also works at Asbury Theological Seminary. He loves the outdoors and nature and enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking, hunting, birdwatching, and nature photography. He also loves watching college and NFL football and playing strategy board games.
Penny joined the staff at GCF in 2015 as the Director of Children’s Ministries with more than 30 years of experience of serving children in large and small churches. She is passionate about the discipleship and spiritual growth of children. Penny and her husband Jay are parents of seven children and have twelve grandchildren.

April has live in Wilmore since 2011. She has always considered herself an artist and loves to worship and serve God with her gifts. After college April served for 4 years at a ministry in Nicholasville that provided services to people with disabilities. She loves working with people and sees it as a God given calling. April is a Graphic Designer and is excited to help lead GCF's creative team. Her favorite part of co-leading the Worship Design Team is helping others worship God through the arts and enjoying community created in the midst of that. She is married and has three children. When she's not working she enjoys jogging, spending time outdoors, drinking coffee and making pottery.
Lee Ann joined the GCF staff in 2016. She has served in various staff and pastoral roles in both church and parachurch ministries for over 18 years. At one time she served in AmeriCorps and operated a Christian nightclub for unchurched teens. She sees part of her calling as “creating space for others” and is passionate about “building bridges”. In 2007 she met her husband, Drew, while boarding a plane to Israel where the two were participating in a Servant Leadership study. They have 2 children, Abbie Lou and Sammy, and have been happily married for 11 years. Outside of serving at GCF, Lee Ann homeschools her kids, loves to sew and coach’s a variety of children’s sports in the community.
